Learning To Love Myself...

Everything in my life began to shift when I decided I was ready.

From a young age, I always had an interest in natural healing, metaphysics, and helping others.

Around the age of 8, I knew I was different than other kids. I had an instinctive 'knowing' and was always curious as to how I could further connect with my inner wisdom.

Around age 17, I moved out. I could no longer tolerate living in a toxic environment. I knew I had wanted to create a beautiful life. I put myself through post-secondary, working 30 hours a week, while studying full-time.

Did I ever think I would end up working for myself? No.

Did I think my passion would become an integral component of my career? No.

I knew I was powerful. I was manifesting abundance and opportunities, I managed to pay my tuition in full and landed a corporate role shortly after graduating. Although I was confident in myself professionally, my personal self-confidence was lacking.

I was overweight, self-conscious of my complexion and I was not the kindest to myself.

During my early 20’s I ended up in a toxic relationship. I ignored my intuition and was headed down a dark path. My self-esteem and the relationship went downhill very quickly.

The relationship became abusive after only a few months. I was afraid and ashamed. Things became a lot worse. It was physical, emotional and financial. The relationship put me in debt; over $50,000. My mind and body were terribly neglected. I knew I had to get out before the destruction took me out.

After many attempts, my last attempt to leave was successful. I packed up my sh*t and found somewhere else to live, I moved in less than 3 days. I left everything. It took some courage and a whole lot of strength. I had about $1.14 to my name... plus upcoming bills...

Somehow... I was able to pay my rent on time.

I felt so relieved to be free and alive; but I was afraid of freedom.

I knew I was able to heal myself.
I learned to love myself.

 “I got this!”

I started replacing negative fear-based thoughts and learned to say “bye-bye” to toxic people and energy-depleting relationships.

The results were transformative.

One day I came across a website which had an article on Reiki. I had received Reiki in my teenage years so I was already familiar with the benefits it provided. Little did I know it would become one of my passions and a crucial part of my life.

After I had attended a Reiki session, I knew I needed to learn how to channel Reiki energy so that I could continue working on healing my mind, body and soul.

Through working with my Guides, my intuitive abilities strengthened.

I was guided to fulfill my purpose: to help others learn to harness their inner Light.

Friends and family started asking me to hold Reiki sessions for them, and from there I began receiving referrals.  I initially learned Reiki for myself, later completing my Reiki Teacher & Master Level 3 Certificate in April 2017.

In a few short years, I have lost about 40 pounds, improved my perception of myself which in turn increased my self-confidence and ultimately transformed my life.

My body feels amazing- inside and out, I quit smoking cigarettes, ailments which puzzled my doctors resolved (migraines, aches and pains, inflammation, low immune system, fatigue and weakness).

The Mind-Body connection is real, and we are all capable of healing ourselves. We are all energetic beings.

In early 2018, I made a decision to leave the corporate world to pursue my heart centered online biz, Sunday Vibes. Although I miss working with those who made my corporate experience enjoyable, I am so grateful to be able to pursue my own creation while being supported by the Universe. Stay tuned for my YouTube :) *Summer 2019*

My advice to anyone looking to accomplish their dreams (or even a few goals):

Sometimes you have to be your own hype-woman. If your work does not hype you up, if it does not get you excited first thing in the morning- do something else.

Sometimes you have to like and share your own content.

Sh!t happens and sometimes you fail. Miserably.

Sometimes you just have to say "f*ck you!" and keep pushing forward. Be patient. Be grateful. Your dreams will become a reality faster than you think. When you feel like giving up; remember a blessing is just around the corner.

You can accomplish anything you put your mind to. If you can dream it, you can do it.

Every day, I am so grateful for everyone who has helped me along my journey so far.

I look forward to holding space for you so that you too can grow and expand while on your journey.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Raise your vibration. Love yourself. Heal the soul.

Love & Light,

Tabatha Sunday Knight
